Say Goodbye to Dangling Hooks
Travelling with a camper attached to your vehicle can be enjoyable, yet it demands a keen sense of efficiency. A common sight often seen on trailers is dangling hooks, which can detract from the overall appearance of the setup.
To address this issue, one potential solution involves securing a set of hammerlocks to the towbar and another set to the safety chains of the trailer, then utilizing a hook to connect the hammerlocks. This not only enhances the visual appeal of the setup but also guarantees a swifter connection between the camper and the towing vehicle.
When selecting the appropriate specifications for the hammerlocks and hooks, it's important to consider the ATM of the trailer.
For heavier trailers with an ATM of 2500kg or below, opt for a 7/8mm hammerlock on the towbar, paired with a 6mm hook for the chain and along another 6mm or 7/8mm hammerlock.
For heavier trailers with an ATM between 2500kg and 3500kg, including 3500kg, a 10mm hammerlock on the tow bar with a 7/8mm hook for the chain, along with matching hammerlocks, would be suitable.
Alternatively, we offer a range of silver hook series that cater to trailers with an ATM of both 2500kg and 3500kg.
By replacing dangling hooks with hammerlocks on towbars, you not only improve the aesthetics of your towing setup but also prioritize convenience on the road. Say goodbye to unsightly and hazardous hooks, and hello to an easy and nice towing experience.
